A representative firm of St James’s Place (SJP) Wealth Management, Hall & Costello is based in beautiful offices in Cliffe Woods near Rochester. The firm provides high level holistic financial planning advice to both individuals and businesses and, in addition to dealing with clients in the UK, it has also built expertise looking after ex-pats living and working in the Middle East. It also offers specialist advice for PGA members.
“We recognise that it’s not just about growing your assets, but it’s about protecting them too,” says Chartered Financial Adviser, Danielle Lecomber from Hall & Costello. “We are committed to working with you to create a strategy shaped entirely around protecting you and your estate. Whatever your goals, our financial experts are here to help you. We take pride in listening to your individual objectives and ambitions, so we can design a protection plan centred around your circumstances.”
When the firm was looking for a new website, it needed to show all the support and services Hall & Costello provides. As Danielle adds: “What we offer is quite complex, however our clients don’t need all the technical details. They come to for a solution and they need to feel that – having looked at our website – they can pick up the phone or click on our ‘contact us’ details – and talk to somebody who can help them.”
She continues: “For this reason, we wanted the website to be simple and straightforward to navigate but, more importantly, we wanted it to deliver a friendly and warm feeling.”
Danielle has already known Rob Stevens from Target Ink for around five years, as they are both members of the networking group BNI A21 Connect in Tunbridge Wells.
“Rob and the team took time to understand what we wanted to achieve with our website,” says Danielle. “Although we are a financial services firm, we wanted our corporate website to be as professional as possible, while showcasing the enthusiastic, dynamic, trusted family feel that our office and team members offer all our valued clients.”
“My clients benefit from tailored ongoing advice to meet their expectations throughout every stage of their financial planning journey,” says Danielle. “I believe one of the huge and underestimated benefits of working with an adviser is simply the ability to build and develop strategies with another individual who is as invested in both the relationship, journey and the outcome, as you.”
It's not surprising then that Hall & Costello was attracted to working with Rob and the team, as Target Ink also recognises the importance of maintaining long-term relationships with its clients, continuing to provide website support on an ongoing basis.
“Target Ink’s ongoing maintenance service has been brilliant and provides us with consistent support,” Danielle says. “We work in an industry which is changing all the time – due to new regulations etc – so it was vital we work with a website developer who can easily make updates and changes for us. Also, as a firm, we are continuing to grow and, since the website was launched, we’ve already added new people to the ‘Meet The Team’ page.”
Danielle explains that Target Ink’s monthly fee structure also means, as a business, Hall & Costello can keep on top of its cash-flow and spread the cost of managing its website over a 12-month period.
As Hall & Costello is part of the St James’s Place Wealth Management network, there are certain elements of its new website which feed into SJP’s main website. For example, the ‘Insights’ blog/news section clicks through to the main SJP site, as does the ‘Funds’ section. Target Ink worked with Hall & Costello to make this integration work smoothly.
Hall & Costello also required Target Ink to add in various other elements, including links to its social media channels and to the testimonial site Vouched For.
“We’d like to thank Target Ink for their expertise and professionalism in helping to create our new website,” says Danielle. “Target Ink not only exceeded our expectations and met our desired criteria, but Rob and the team have been super friendly and a pleasure to deal with. They have been open to listening to all our ideas and have come back to us with their thoughts and solutions. They’ve also been patient dealing with the regulations which come with working in financial services. It’s a really good working relationship.”
