Don’t break the chain

Mastering the Digital Chain by Target Ink

In previous blogs, we’ve written about how important it is that the various elements of your marketing work together, as success is never down to just one type of approach.

Many companies will concentrate on producing a great newsletter every month or simply put all their efforts into an amazing Facebook campaign but everything else in your marketing mix must align as well.

The stumbling block for many companies today is the apparently complex nature of digital marketing and the rise of AI, which can seem overwhelming to many business owners.

Here at Target Ink, we recognise this and have launched a online workshop – Mastering the Digital Chain – in which we will demystify all the technical chat around digital marketing. Through our workshop, you’ll discover that there isn’t a magic formula! Instead, successful marketing is down to connected, repeatable processes – much the same as pedalling along consistently on your bicycle, with the correct gear selected and the chain intact. That’s how you make progress.

We guarantee that our workshop will be entirely jargon-free and, through it, you will learn how a digital chain works effectively. While we – and other agencies – do this every day for our clients, there is absolutely no obligation on your part to sign up to anything afterwards. At Target Ink, we have many years’ experience in digital marketing and we simply want to share something of what we know.

We will talk about how you can build online campaigns and generate genuine leads through your digital activities, as well as bringing in social media (such as LinkedIn), website SEO, managing and nurturing leads through your CRM and using emails as your lead funnel.

In the workshop, we’ll show you that digital marketing isn’t as complicated as it seems and there is often some ‘low hanging fruit’ businesses can easily pick off. For example, we’ll look at landing pages and how key they are in converting potential customers and talk about building you a digital marketing strategy that works, even on a small budget.

Continuing to use the bicycle analogy, your marketing strategy includes your products and/or services on the small gear and your outreach (all the elements of your marketing strategy, from events and PR to social media posts to email campaigns) on the big gear. There is no way your bicycle will get you anywhere if your gears don’t work or your chain breaks. It’s the same with your digital chain; you need every link to be intact and working. After all, outreach without follow-up means wasted time; great products with no audience results in no growth; and broken connections in your chain will result in lost leads and revenue.

It is the vital digital links in the chain which are often less clear to businesses and we will cover some of the key ones in our workshop – including appointment scheduling tools and, through the use of AI, bulk content creation.

Our workshop won’t just involve showing you a presentation, as there will be an opportunity for you to get involved as well. You’ll be encouraged to look at your own digital marketing strategy and we’ll work with you to spot the missing links in your chain.

However, our workshop and advice doesn’t end there, as every participant will be given access to Tick-It, our dedicated marketing platform. On there, you will have access to a raft of marketing experts, who are ready to share their expertise and provide guidance.
